A new year means new challenges and a healthy start!! So for my husband and i, it’s a 4 week Clean and Lean detox. This is crazy crazy stuff for me, considering how much i LOVE cake, but i’m going to get through it!!!!
This program definitely has some serious challenges as you cut out dairy, carbohydrates, sugar and fruit. I’m pretty much cutting out EVERYTHING i love and eat all the time. Basically you eat protein, fats and green vegetables. I’m definitely missing my morning oats, natural muesli, fruit and of course a few Arnott’s Biscuits dunked into my tea in the afternoon!!
We are now in week two, and we are getting through this challenge much easier than i had anticipated. I’ve found some great “Clean and Lean” recipes that i want to share with you. These are not my recipes, so watch this space for some of my own.
