Baking & Cooking School opens in Singapore
Exciting news for enthusiastic baker’s and cook’s in Singapore, Dean Brettschneider from our much loved Baker & Cook is set to open a state of the art cooking school, Brettschneider’s Baking & Cooking School. Brettschneider is the owner and co-founder of the Baker & Cook artisan bakeries, his passion is to keep the art of baking and cooking alive, through the school he hopes to provide a fun, intimate and interactive environment for people to learn the craft that he has so well mastered.
Brettschneider’s Baking & Cooking School will be located near his original bakery in Hillcrest, in the Bukit Timah area. The school will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and a work space that most of us dream to have in our own home. Brettschneider’s adamant in delivering the best quality experience, so you will be using some of the world’s leading brands in kitchen products including; Scanpan, Fisher&Paykel, Silestone, Kenwood, Global and Laguiole knives. And better still, after your class you will have the opportunity to purchase the tools you used.
Brettschneider himself will teach Basic Bread Making, while acclaimed local chefs from InterContinental Hotel, Gattopardo Restaurant di Mare, Flute’s Restaurant and many more will teach a variety of classes based on their area of expertise. Guests will also have the opportunity to master the art of brewing the perfect cup of coffee, with New Zealand based coffee All Press.
