Where to Buy Champagne in Singapore

Moet

A good friend of mine shared the secret of where to buy bubbles in Singapore for a better price than can be found at the supermarkets. After watching a lady load bottles and bottles of Moet and Veuve Clicquot into her trolley at Cold Storage recently, I feel compelled to share the secret with you our loyal readers. Because what that lady did not know, was that at Cold Storage, she was paying up $20 plus dollars more per bottle than she would otherwise pay at my secret champagne supplier. I know what you might be thinking, where will I have to travel to find such bargains? Well, you will be pleased to know that this secret supplier is in more than one location in Singapore, and one of it’s locations is somewhere that you might find yourself on a regular basis.

So without further ado, I give you Bottles and Bottles, a retailer and wholesaler of wine and spirits. My closet Bottles and Bottles is in Tudor Court, which is the building that adjoins Tanglin Mall, you literally walk out the front doors of the mall, past the taxi rank, past Edit Lifestyle and there you are, that short walk just saved you 20 bucks! For all the locations click here for a link to their website.

The helpful staff will send you a text message once a month to let you know what is on special offer. Last month saw them offering Moet for $51 and Veuve Clicquot for $57, which in my book is a pretty good price. Not surprisingly, they are currently sold out of both at Tanglin Mall. But I am informed more is on the way and will be in store by 13 December. They also offer a great selection of wine (check out the $30 Chablis, not bad drinking at all!) and other champagne. Among my favourites are Laurent Perrier and Perrier Jouet, both at $60 per bottle.

So bottoms up and enjoy some bubbles this festive season!
